I called to rent a space for our travel trailer in Polk City and I spoke with Megan (I think was her name) very friendly and helpful, even when I didn’t have all the necessary information to rent a space directly over the phone. I then went on line and did our rental agreement, that was also very easy. After completing the agreement Teri call me and was such a delight to speak with. I have to tell you; you don’t know what people are going through and I was going through a lot. You would have thought that Sharon and Terri were family. They were very patient and courteous and helpful when I needed a storage unit. Sometimes in life, you are looking for a particular service or help with a situation and you don’t even realize that what you really need is to have someone care about you… care about what your journey is and had been …sometimes you just need someone to listen and be encouraging. That is the difference in customer service and actually being a part of a community. Sharon and Terri make you feel that you came home and you are not alone and that you have a person who cares to help and listen. Storage king Polk City is clean and wonderfully designed as well as being the best price but that is all secondary to the experience of having people who are just truly caring and professional. Storage King Corporate would be very smart to pay attention and consider setting their national training policies according to the mind set of Sharon and Terri. These folks are very nice. The prices are good and everything is explained. I only needed a unit for six months but I didn’t have to sign a lease. It’s monthly and the grounds are always neat and clean. Best of all, I had an outside unit but never had a bug or pest issue. Very good place to rent storage.

This HAS TO BE the best storage facility ever!! We were pleasantly surprised at how clean everything is – the facility is brightly lit. They have rolling carts you can use so you don’t have to make 30 trips back and forth from your vehicle. Inside facilities. everything is locked up and safe. Best of all – REASONABLE! Very reasonable monthly cost. The staff in the office are extremely pleasant and helpful ! Don’t think I left anything out!! Would highly recommend if you are looking for storage!!

The location was very good for us and the office staff was very friendly and accommodating in finding us an indoor climate controlled 5×5 storage unit to fit our needs. The property was well maintained and the building we were in was clean and well lit inside. Security was good. Our issues were with a monthly rental rate increase we were recently notified of, after only having the unit 4 months. We also had to purchase their insurance for an additional cost each month and could not use our own homeowners/RV insurance policy to cover the contents. For us personally, we could foresee that the costs may become too high very quickly for our budget and we didn’t know when the next increase(s) would appear, so we decided to move on to another more cost effective option for us where we could lock in a lower monthly rate than we were paying, for a larger climate controlled unit long term and use our own insurance.

Would give five stars but they have had gate issues lately and don’t have posted phone numbers for access when the office is closed but the facility should be accessible. I am hoping the new management is rapidly addressing the issues and then I will update to five stars.
