How to Choose Your Storage Unit
Our storage unit sizes vary by facility and availability, but you can typically find storage units ranging from 25 square feet to 300 square feet.
You can use our storage calculator to calculate how much space you will need to store your belongings.
Miscalculations are common. Just talk to one of our managers and we’ll be happy to make adjustments for you—our month-to-month rental agreements mean you aren’t on the hook for a unit that doesn’t work for you.
How to Rent Your Storage Unit
To rent a storage unit, you will need a current government-issued photo ID, proof of address, and a phone number we can use to reach you. If you are using your own insurance, be sure to bring proof of that as well.
You can reserve a unit online, by phone, or by visiting one of our facilities.
Payment & Insurance
You can pay over the phone or in person, and you can also pay for your unit through our online portal.
No, there is no deposit required.
Yes! You can opt-in for auto payments for your convenience.
In most states, you can provide your own insurance or opt into our SBOA tenant insurance program.
Security, Features, & Amenities
Your unit will be secured by your own lock and key and you will be able to decide who has access to your unit.
Yes! Many of our facilities offer climate controlled storage units. Climate controlled units are heated in the winter and air-conditioned in the summer to keep your belongings shielded from the weather.
We’re committed to security at Storage King USA. Most of our facilities feature fenced and bright lighting, monitored video surveillance, electronic gates with coded access, personal locks available for purchase, and more.
Yes! We can accept deliveries on your behalf. We’ll place your package at your unit and inform you when it’s arrived.
Moving & Storage Tips
We have a variety of moving and packing supplies available for sale at our rental office. These supplies include boxes in a variety of sizes, sofa covers, and bubble wrap, and storage unit locks.
Yes, our facilities feature drive-up access as well as wide lanes in between units to ensure driving through with large trucks is worry-free.
